It was just over 4.5 miles, no stiles but included a moderately steep climb to begin with over moderate terrain watching out for exposed tree roots and then descended on a good footpath with views of local Downland and views of a large mansion featured in several Hammer Horror movies.

Then it was another steepish climb through woodland (necessary breathers were taken).

Thereafter it was downhill all the way. A shortish section along a quiet county road, featuring tasty dwellings, followed before the road was left to walk through an old orchard and vineyard before entering the current Bolney Vineyard before returning to Bolney Village Hall.
Lunch was at The Bolney Stage Pub.
